This Privacy Policy explains how NyTex Fireworks (Nytex JJS, LLC, “NyTex,” “we,” “us”) collects and uses information from people who apply for and work seasonal jobs through the NyTex staff portal at staff-portal.nytexfireworks.com.

Information we collect

When you apply or onboard, we collect the information you provide, which may include your name, email address, mobile phone number, home address, date of birth, emergency contact, pay details, and employment-eligibility information required by law (such as I-9 and W-4 data). We also collect basic usage information needed to operate the portal securely.

How we use your information

We use your information to review job applications, administer employment, and communicate with you about your application status, onboarding, and work schedule — including by email and text message. We use it only for staffing and employment operations, not to sell you anything.

Text messages (SMS)

If you provide your mobile number, we use it to send operational texts about your application status and work schedule. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never shared with anyone for those purposes.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate — for example, our SMS provider (Twilio) to deliver text messages, our email provider, and our hiring and payroll tools — and only as needed to provide those services. We may also disclose information when required by law.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as needed to run our hiring and employment operations and to meet legal, tax, and recordkeeping obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymized.

How we protect your information

We limit access to your information to people who need it for their work, use reputable service providers, and transmit data over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to safeguard your information.

Cookies

The staff portal uses only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and to operate securely. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

Your choices
